Omar A. Abuzir is a founding member of Khalaf & Abuzir, LLC, formerly know as Horn, Khalaf, Abuzir & Mitchell , LLC. His work in that capacity covers all aspects of immigration law, with a particular concentration on litigation in Federal District Court and matters that come before the Executive Office of Immigration Review. He holds a J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Political Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Mr. Abuzir has represented clients in or facing deportation and/or removal proceedings due to a wide variety of circumstances. Mr. Abuzir has also represented hundreds of clients seeking some form of immigrant or non-immigrant status or relief from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service, He is a member of the Illinois Bar and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Mr. Abuzir is fluent in English, Arabic and Spanish.
